AI Daily Brief
Start every day with a full picture, not a catch-up session.
Your morning brief, in 60 seconds
The first 20 minutes of a workday are usually spent scanning: what came in overnight, what’s on the calendar, what needs a response, what’s on fire. Mio compresses that into a single brief you can read in 60 seconds.
Ask: “@Mio what do I need to know this morning?” Mio checks your calendar for today’s meetings, scans overnight messages in your Slack channels for anything urgent, surfaces open action items, and highlights anything that changed since yesterday. It replies with a prioritised brief — your day at a glance, things that need action, and context for your first few calls.
What’s in the daily brief
- Today’s calendar. Your meetings for the day, with a note on anything that needs prep.
- Overnight highlights. What happened in your Slack channels since you were last online — filtered to what matters, not everything.
- Open action items. Things flagged for you across your tools that haven’t been resolved.
- What changed. Decisions made, tickets closed, deals moved, documents updated — a delta from yesterday.
- Flags. Anything urgent, blocked, or at risk that needs your attention before the day gets moving.
Works with 3,000+ tools
Mio connects to 3,000+ tools. The daily brief pulls from wherever your work actually lives — your calendar, inbox, project tools, and the Slack channels your team uses to communicate. The more you connect, the more complete the picture Mio can give you each morning.
Use cases
- Founder morning check-in. A cross-company pulse before your first meeting: what happened in engineering, sales, and ops overnight.
- Executive daily brief. Prioritised view of what needs a decision, what’s at risk, and what’s on the calendar today.
- Chief of Staff daily sync. A full-company status update to share with the executive team each morning.
- Sales rep morning routine. Open deals, follow-ups due today, and prep for the first customer call.
- Team lead standup prep. What the team shipped yesterday, what they’re on today, and what’s blocked.

Frequently asked questions
Can the daily brief be sent automatically each morning?
Scheduled briefs are on the roadmap. For now, you trigger the brief with one message in Slack when you start your day. Email support@mio.xyz to be notified when scheduled delivery ships.
Can it be shared with my team?
Yes. Ask Mio in a shared channel and the brief posts there for everyone to read. Useful for leadership teams that want a shared morning context before a daily standup or async check-in.
How far back does it look for overnight activity?
By default, Mio looks at activity since your last session — typically the previous working day. You can also specify: “@Mio brief me on the last 48 hours” if you’re returning from a weekend or time off.
Can I customise what it includes?
Yes. Tell Mio in natural language what to focus on. “@Mio give me my morning brief focused on sales and any engineering incidents.” Mio adjusts the scope of the brief based on your instructions.
